🌌 Exploring New Cosmic Horizons with Nate Dybevik 🌌

It’s been a stellar month for Nate Dybevik, filled with cosmic developments and creative strides! This October, as part of Tacoma Arts Month, Nate opened the doors of his Cosmic Piano Academy for a studio tour, alongside fellow artists Mindy and Tori. It was an inspiring chance to connect with the community and share the magic of music in action.

Exciting News on the Rebranding Front!Nate has officially rebranded his piano service business from N. Dybevik Pianos to Puget Sound Pianos, making it even easier to find his work online. This transformation reflects his commitment to Tacoma’s music community, and you can follow his journey and explore the new site at pugetsoundpianos.com.

New Scholarship InitiativeIn collaboration with Klaire at the Tacoma Urban Performing Arts Center (T.U.P.A.C.), Nate is also launching a scholarship program to support budding musicians. This project aims to create more pathways for artistic expression and strengthen FCC’s cosmic connection with Tacoma. It’s a powerful step toward expanding The Orchard on 6th’s positive impact on our city.

Halloween Recital at the Cosmic Piano AcademyFinally, Nate and Ben celebrated Halloween with their annual recital. The students took the stage with spooky flair, delighting the audience and showcasing their growth. Nate even fine-tuned the piano himself, ensuring every note resonated beautifully. Meanwhile, he’s been updating the Cosmic Piano Academy website, providing students with fresh resources to continue exploring their “musical universe.”

Thank you, First Christian Church Family, for your ongoing support of Nate’s cosmic journey!

🎹 Halloween Recital Highlights & Welcoming New Students Ben Smith 🎹

The Halloween piano recital was a joyous celebration this year, bringing together students, families, and the community to honor the dedication and development of these young artists. Collaborating with Nate and our fantastic team of volunteers made the event even more memorable, with festive touches and a warm atmosphere that welcomed everyone.

We’re thrilled to announce the upcoming arrival of two new students, Ocean and Cowry, who will be starting their musical journeys in December. Recently immigrated from Singapore, they were referred to us by Janelle, whose children also study with us. Their mother is excited to see them integrate into our community and the public school system, and we can’t wait to see them shine in future recitals.

Thanks to generous supporters, our fundraising efforts are close to reaching our $5,000 goal. If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation by year’s end, please contact me or any staff member at FCC Tacoma. Every contribution helps nurture and grow our art programs for future generations.

Thank you for being part of our Orchard on 6th family!
