Among our joys:
We look forward to beginning the Lenten season this year by co-hosting an Ash Wednesday service with our neighbors at Urban Grace. We welcome you to join us Wednesday at 6pm at Urban Grace, which is at 902 Market St. for our Ash Wednesday service at which free childcare will also be provided. If you're unable to make it Wednesday evening, we invite you to stop by the FCC campus parking lot just right out side during the hours of 7:30am or 11:30am for a mobile "ashes on the go" blessing from your vehicle. Look for a white pop-up tent! We look forward to beginning this 40 day journey of reflection, reordering, and reviving.
Among our concerns, we continue to pray for:
Norma Carolyn
Dan Ledbetter
Laura Cohthril
Danny Jablonski
Marc Masters
Charlene Housman
For friends of our extended community and families undergoing health challenges: Tae, Raven, Nancy, Loralie, Margo, Teresa, Cheryl and Ron and Steve.
We lift up our homebound friends:
Harry and Margaret Lobberegt
Helen Bosley
Dorothy Beeles
Anastasia Cox and her daughter, Lela
Joseph Mills
Jane Nelson
Among our local and global community:
We pray for peace and compassion throughout the world. Amongst many who find themselves in places of conflict or struggle for justice and peace, we lift up Syria, Palestine and Gaza, Ukraine, those intwined in war in Israel and Russia, in Lebanon, Sudan, Yemen and for those in conflict fighting for justice in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Somalia, and many other places around the world, including those advocating for the just treatment of the most vulnerable and marginalized here in Tacoma.
For the village on 6th and Orchard and for those who find themselves without shelter.
Finally, join us in lifting up our Global Ministries partners, this week, in Indonesia.
If you'd like to share a prayer joy or concern, please contact Pastor Doug at doug@fcctacoma.org or by calling the church office. Please indicate whether your prayer is to be shared publicly, or if you'd like it to be kept private.
