Among our Joys:
Thanks for the beauty of this day, and for the tea time being prepared for all to enjoy after today's worship. -Mother's Day - we give thanks for the mothers of our lives, and we hold in our hearts those for whom this day is difficult. Those carrying grief, those seeking healing, those who find themselves estranged or alone, may we be receive our example of mothering from the God who has made us, with courage, prioritize the tending to the needs of our young, and of all of God's children, to the earth and all that live herein.
Among our concerns:
We hold in our prayers Laura Cohthril, recovering at a transitional rehab hospital
We also hold Mel Peabody’s mother in our prayers, as she continues recovering from a fall last week.
Pat McDaniel.

Mary Hans-Zwosta, a friend of Sue Simpson
Danny Jablonski, and his spouse, Gordon

Among our local and global community,
We pray for peace, for those under occupation, for those who fall victim to tyrannical rule, for all building peace in a world obsessed with war. We pray for Gaza, the West Bank, Ukraine, Israel, Iran, and anywhere God’s peace is trampled in the human quest for might.
We lift up the village on 6th and Orchard.
We lift up our Global Ministries partners in Palestine.
