This week's community joys & concerns from October 27, 2024

Among our Joys:

  • The Orchard on 6th (formerly known as The Center for Spirituality and the Arts) Piano Recital - we enjoyed the fruits of the work of 12 accomplished students of Ben Smith and Nate Dybevick.

  • After worship and a brief pause for lunch and fellowship, we hope you'll stay and join us for our annual Congregational meeting. I want to lift up a word of gratitude for all the leaders who have faithfully served this past year, including the executive board, our deacons, elders, members-at-large, trustees, and nominating committee members, and the folks who have worked as part of our Congregational Transition Task Force this year. Friends, though we have some important conversations and work to do in the days and months ahead, I hope one of the things you'll take away from today is delight in the people who God has assembled and who God is assembling, YOU are a part of that assembly! The Spirit of God is at work.

  • Our Halloween Bash is this Thursday from 5-7pm in the Multipurpose Room! All are welcome! Join us!
