Among our joys:
Holy Week among us - join us next Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus for a sunrise service at Dune Peninsula at 6:15am, or in worship here at the church at 11am followed by a congregational potluck and egg hunt for the community. All are welcome! Bring a friend! Bring some kids!
Among our concerns:
We add to our prayers Mel Peabody's mother, who is recovering from a fall week.
We continue to pray for:
Pat McDaniel
Tom Moore
Marc Master
Dan Ledbetter
Laura Cohthril
Danny Jablonski
Charlene Housman
We add to our prayer concerns a friend of Corrine Bahrke's, Loretta Baker, who has recently been diagnosed with a resurgence of lung cancer.
For the friends of our extended community and families undergoing health challenges: Raven, Nancy, Margo, and Steve
We lift up our homebound friends:
Harry and Margaret Lobberegt
Helen Bosley
Dorothy Beeles
Anastasia Cox and her daughter, Lela
Joseph Mills
Harriet Wright
Jane Nelson
Among our local and global community:
We pray for all who dwell in worry or fear, for those who society has rejected, blamed, or pushed aside
We pray for peace throughout the earth, for those entwined in conflicts and wars, for the innocent wrapped up in the quarrels of the powerful, for all to repent of our selfish ways to turn anew toward the way of our life-giving God.
We pray for forgiveness, recompense, justice, and shalom - a peace that is deeper than words and everything more than just the mere absence of violence.
For the village on 6th and Orchard and for those who find themselves without shelter.
Last but not least, we lift up our Global Ministries partners, this week in Fiji.
